Inspiration for Peace Ltd came from an old school urban environment with eternally glowing neon lights in darkness. The observation that we live in a world where small technical failure might change the meaning of a message radically is a point of departure. The neon sign of the world known symbol of peace is broken and it is showing something else.
Peace Ltd is an outdoor-proof neon sign, 800 mm in diameter, made from galvanized steel and red-orange neon gas in clear glass tubes. The work can stand or to be rigged. The weight is 10 kg, transportation weight 20 kg and dimensions are 100x100x250cm. Low heat consumption. 5A/230v, schuko plug.
