VALOA design Oy: SIGNAALI

A permanent digital light artwork situated on the facade of Hotel Torni. Located on the roof of the city, right in the heart of Tampere, the installation highlights the unique architecture of the hotel, its functions and creates a new identity and content for evening city life. At the top of the tower there is a distributed media surface that follows the rhythm of the grid surfaces and goes around the entire top. Visibility of the presented theme is 360 degrees. The architecturally dominant bevel of the building is highlighted with changing lighting. The lighting solution is at the same time restrained and alive, enlivening the cityscape. SIGNAALI is built on the terms of architecture, cityscape and aesthetic sustainability.
