Chrisse Candolin: Fragments by the Milky Way

A diaslide or a stillpicture of a videoprojection of tree-branches on phosphorized aluminium sheets and on the wall.

The work consists of a Dia slide or a projected still image of tree-branches on phosphorated aluminium sheets placed on the wall. The work also includes numerous reflective sheets placed on the floor. The projection goes on and of every ten minutes. The illumination of the phosphor on the aluminium sheets on the wall fades slowly away, after which the projection is again activated.

Dia or videoprojection, phosphorized colour on aluminum-sheets.

Wall area 5-8 meters, floor area 30 m2.

Standard mains current (10A/16A).

Does the artwork use sound?
No sound.

Hanging structures on the wall. Video / diaslide plattform.

2,5 m

Darkness.

Building time and people required (estimate):
3-5 hours.
