Johanna Häiväoja: Touch

A work connected to the accessibility of places and people.

Touch was part of an exhibition about the accessibility of places and people. Häiväoja looked at the theme of the work widely - the hand touches virtually the heights of the ceiling but the image looks also like the hand of Fatima. 

Light sources, materials, and equipment:  
Standard Gobo-projector with gobo.

Dimensions of the work, approximately (width-height-depth): 
Can be adjusted - gobo-projection.

Electricity consumption:
Standard mains current (10A/16A).

Does the artwork use sound?
No sound.

Support and other structures:
The work includes all the necessary structures.

Structures, hardware, or other equipment needed from the client: 
A place to fix the gobo-projector.

Minimum height of the space:
The higher the better.

Minimum square meters of the space:
4 m2

Requirements for the space: darkness, temperature, colouring (light / dark / specific colour / other) etc.:
Darkness, a surface to project on.

Building time and people required (estimate):
1-2 h.

Artist's presence:
Artist or their representative must be present during building.
